Catamaran Vacations chose the Marquise 56 after over a year of review and selection. The basic configuration provides 3 separate cabins each with its own bath and shower. The Marquise 56 has the largest salon of any yacht in its class. The main Salon has ample head room throughout its large and bright interior. A panoramic view spanning over 160 degrees is available throughout the salon without allowing vertical sunlight to heat the Cabin. This provides a spacious and comfortable interior which is air regulated with dual air conditioning units.

The exterior deck of the Marquise is flat throughout its over 1,000 sq ft of deck space. The forward deck and trampolines provide both hard and soft reclining space for those times when relaxing in the sun is preferred.

The stern cockpit has contoured seating and space for 8 people at the cockpit, dining table. A special effort has been placed in providing comfortable shade in the cockpit area. A 10ft by 18ft canvas Bimini supported by a stainless steel framework provides protection in even the windiest, sailing conditions. A significant deck attribute of the Marquise is the transom steps which gently slope to an ample stern platform facilitating easy entry and exit to both the ship’s tender and the water.

The en suite cabins have double or queen size berths with ample ventilation from opening ports and hatches, cabin fans and individual controls for the air conditioning system. Reading lights, hanging lockers and personal storage areas are available in all cabins. All the boats have tv/video/dvd systems as well as stereos in both the public and private areas of the vessel. Water sports equipment varies from boat to boat but you’ll find everything you need to explore the undersea life regardless of your location and rendezvous diving for certified divers can be arranged by your crew, in advance.
